What is the difference between set and pieces?

In the next link: ,in the section Payment Shipping Terms says Price: FOB USD 75-154 / set ..what means set here? a set of pieces? or each piece? next, says minimum order quantity: 10 set free shipping... that means 10 pieces? then says: Sale promotion: order 15 pieces get 4 free, pieces? set? I don't understand, can you help me please? Thanks a lot.

I guess set include a a lot of serials pieces . Like the clothes is made of different parts or pieces , such as : sleeve , button , collar and so on . set is whole , piece is a part . If you buy a set or more , they will be more practical or giving you a discount . But piece is much more expensive , there is limit benifit on it , so they will sell it higher ... they will discount you once you buy more pieces because their benifits are good ..... set means large things, like desks ,or tv sets and what you have mentioned--a laptop. piece refer to small things or parts,such as paper, mouse, smart card.

North east countries,some use "Set" to express "Piece".   Set = Either more than one piece bundled or indicate accessories with it Piece= Its single unit    cheers
