I payd money, but seller changed the price

Good afternoon, Yesterday I had a deal with company Yicai Int'l Electronics Technology Ltd., they told that the price for 30 pcs I9+ phones with delivery to Latvia is 750$, I transferred money to their Western Union account, but today they called me and said that the price changed and it was 1200 USD total. This seller is a Gold Supplier on Alibaba.com. I sent e-mail and called to their company, but they didn't answer. Can I return my money or what shall I do? Best regards, Svetlana Romanova

Dear Svetlana Romanova   as a matter of fact this site is overwhelming with those who send their company introduction instead of helping others and being useful so i am going right to the point u asked about ;   this problem is very common doing international businesses ; as you know price stability has been the wish of every countries economy ( we know that it is some how just a wish ) . on the other hand market conditions such as monopoly of a company , competition rate and etc affect the prices as well ;   But how to avoid it during the international business ? when you search for a certain product , and you have found a reliable source , please do not ever rely on their price , what you chat or even recive in your email box as a price enquiery is useless in the international business process. when you are planning to start a business relationship with a compant you may ask them to send you the product's Proforma Invoice , there will be chance to have a reliable document which has the term : Price Validity ; ask your international partners to specify their price validty . within the price validity period the company must serve you with the price that they have mentioned in the PI (proforma invoice) even if the world's prices have raisen to 100000% .   i for my self in the condition that have a 110 $ offer condition and 2 weeks price validity and also a 100 $ offer with no price validity prefer the 110 $ .   If you ever had any other question i will be there to help .   Masoud Mashayekhi sales and export manager Kosar Saba manufacturing and trading company

This is the worst part of any supplier and people often do,me too going through this tough time but thank god i haven't paid it till now,i discussed a deal  for the last 10 days and now on the finalization day, suddenly the seller says "My Manager not agree and we cant supply"....    These problems are due to improper management in the companies,front managers are not empowered but still they act as they are decision making authority and take decisions,when their boss dont accept,then they change their views suddenly.    Better ask them to supply whatever u can get for the money u have paid,later if found ok then u can order some more.   If they are demanding extra money than market prices,then be sure the company is not a scammer before losing some more money .   Cheers..

Hi I saw your question about you had paid money for items and seller changed the price! firstly do not pay any more money because it's a scam just like the 419 sacam thats coming out of Nigeria! secondly never pay by Western Union because you don't know where or who the money is going to and it can't be traced! thirdly check the internet for information on the company you are dealing if they are legitimate or not! fourthly always check the price of items from other legitimate suppliers becuse some items are well below the wholesale price! also use this forum to get feedback about the company/ies you are dealing with. I hope my advice is helpful to you? one last thing I don't know why the call this site Alibaba? because most of the suppliers not all are thieves!! Cheers Peter Str

Sorry to hear the bad news for you. The good method as I think is keeping your email and call to them, until to their response. If they are nice guy, they would refund your payment.   If they refuse for reasons, in that case, you have to satisfy them but keep your goods and balance safe,this is one time business. I advice you should find a old and friendly supplier to help, the balance to satisfy them against the goods through your old supplier. At the moment. please remind your helper to test each item carefully face to face, more details, more better.   While satisfying them, negotiate the balance is very import also. Hi,   Always remeber that whenever you go for international trading there are some points to be keep in mind. You have to know the exact goods price,shipping price, shipping status (Prepaid or FOB) and rate validity along with all break ups.   When you get all these information then only decide to deal with the company and better if you could involve any bank in between your deal as guarenter, so that the chance of any misunderstanding will be very rare.   I am very sorry to read this that you are having a bad experirence. Now what you have to do is just to know that why this price got changed.
