What is the Sustainable wood in furniture ?

The UK's buyer prefer to buy furniture by sustainable wood ? the reason is, It would help to increase the sales in UK furniture Market, as a sort of eco-friendly products, what is the meaning of Sustainable here?

AskerRecommended One uni reply to James: So, your point of view is re-planting trees, whereas the wood is coming from.? however, the Teak and Mahogany trees need minimum in 15 to 20 years to grow, before it can be used for furniture ? and who must do the replanting ?

I am pretty sure Sustainable wood is the same everywhere. Where wood/trees are not cut down faster than what is necessary to keep the earth safe and habitable. So trees are replanted with what has been taken.

sustainable wood mean all wood come from forest which run in manner of good forest management system, from plan of planting, cutting, harvesting and community development, no matter the size was.
