step 1 . Is so called a Verification ! meaning that you must investigate the true or false of contact details and company. with several ways that been advised at several answers to you. in this case is gold or premium membershipstep 2. known as reference or recommendation, to be sure about its existence. step 3. product know how and the origin, you must really know well of what you are dealing ?step 4. Safe trade and secure payment via escrow payment, in this case is Alipay via ali express e-trade.step 5. clear sales/purchasing contract against the order/transaction.            the specification, terms & condition, quality and delivery, guaranty etc.       Also looking for an agent in China.Purchase your goods in China.       1. These sellers list many items in many different product categories, normally the highly desirable items such as Laptops, Ipods, top or the range mobile phones, PDAs, GPS Navigation systems, Nike trainers/sneakers, bikinis, jewellery, watches, handbags.... This is a big clue that they are out to scam you. Also, some of them state that they are a clothing company yet they are listing products for electrical goods....2. They are all from Putian City, Fujian Province, China. I have since discovered that this place is rife with fraud. 3. They all request payment via Western Union or T/T (Telegraphic Transfer), where they have bank transfer details it is in the name of a person not a company name. (Please note that I do send money via Western Union to a company that I have been dealing with for 2 years in China, so sending money via Western Union does not necessarily mean that someone is scamming.)   Best is to travel to China to see with your own eyes! You cannot even trust Gold Suppliers especially those in their first year! Also they tend to put original photos and then send you the cheapest stuff ever! This happens not only in Electronics but also in costumes, mascots, etc.... Keep in mind that the cheapest price, does not necessarily mean a  good deal...Using Pay Pal is of course an option as Alipay of course, who tend to keep your money until the good is delivered and checked. Beware of many companies though.....they sell simply very bad copies or imitation of many different products. Modified by Lucy Luo on 12-06-2010 18:11
